My interest in photography began with a Kodak 110 Instamatic that my dad gave me when I was a kid. By the time I was eighteen, I had saved enough to buy a "real" camera, a 35mm SLR. I even got into developing my own film and making my own prints (B&W only).

Along the way my priorities changed, but my appreciation for photography never did, and I missed it.

In December of 2006 I bought what has turned out to be a "dream" camera for me, the Nikon D80 and several lenses to go with it. I'm very happy with it, and I'm learning more and more all the time. Oh, and the "darkroom" is much less hassle now [:-)
